Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 August 2026
Syntene Learn ("we", "our", "us") is an SAT Math practice website. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
1. What we collect
- Progress data (question answers, streaks, XP, mastery, mistakes journal) linked to an anonymous device ID.
- If you log in with Google: your Google account email, name, and profile picture, to save your progress across devices.
- Basic technical data that Cloudflare (our hosting provider) collects automatically, such as IP address and browser type, as part of providing the service.
2. How we use it
- To show you your progress, streaks, and study history.
- To save your progress when you log in.
- To improve the site and its content.
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
3. Storage and local data
We store a device ID in your browser's local storage to keep your progress on your device. Your progress is also stored on our servers so it can follow you when you log in. Clearing your browser's site data may reset your device ID and hide old progress.
4. Google login
If you choose to log in with Google, Google shares your email, name, and profile picture with us. You can stop using Google login at any time and continue anonymously.
5. Cookies
We use a small, secure session cookie when you log in, so you stay signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Third parties
- Cloudflare hosts the site (Cloudflare Pages, Workers, D1 database).
- Google provides login (OAuth) and processes your data only for that login.
- Desmos provides the graphing calculator embedded in practice questions.
7. Children
This site is designed for students preparing for the SAT, which includes users under 13 in some regions. We do not knowingly collect more data than needed to run the study service, and we do not collect contact information beyond what a Google login provides.
8. Your choices
- You can study anonymously without logging in.
- You can stop logging in at any time.
- You can ask us to delete your account data by contacting us (see below).
